2016 Physical Literacy Days

OSHF is pleased to be partnering with CHEO’s Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group (HALO) to offer special professional development sessions across Ontario this February and March introducing practitioners to the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy (CAPL).

The CAPL is a comprehensive tool that can be used in fitness, health, sport and educational domains to evaluate the skills that contribute to physical literacy.  Sessions take a unique hands-on approach, directly engaging practitioners in the active tasks and screening protocols they will learn to administer.  Eligible for 10 CSEP PDCs and continuing education credits with YMCA, canfitpro, OFC and CATA.
